About Us

South Hall Homeschool Co-op (SHHC) is a parent-led homeschool co-op group that meets for two 12-week semesters per year.

  Location and times:

Tuesdays, 1:45-3:20 with an optional PE class starting at 1:00.

  How it works:

All of our parents remain on campus during co-op hours and participate as teachers, co-teachers, or assistants in classes.  During your first year (2 semesters)you are not required to teach although it is welcomed. You will be placed as an assistant. Teachers may also be placed as an assistant during class periods they are not teaching. After your first two semester you will need to lead teach or co-teach a class.  If your family participates in P.E. you will be assigned to assist there as well. Every parent is assigned at least one week to clean. We assign 3 people to clean each week.

   Fees:

Your enrollment in SHHC is a family membership: it covers enrollment for all children in the family (preschool through high school). At least one child must be school age for the family to enroll.

During early registration: lead teacher $30,   co-teaching $40,   new families/not teaching $50; after early registration everyone is $65.

Some classes will charge an additional fee usually no more than $5-$10.

For more information on what is required to register please see our Registration page. You can also contact us with any questions.
