Art through God’s Creation
We’re going to learn about the six days of creation through art. We’ll study what God created each day and do different projects to explore His amazing world.

Fall Unit Study
Each week we will explore a different aspect of fall – like changes that occur, fall animal habits like hibernation, migration
Seuss on the Loose
Explore the wonderful and wacky world of Dr. Seuss. We will read different Dr. Suess books and do fun crafts, games

Heroes of the Faith – Part 2
What if learning history could actually increase your faith in Jesus and give you a desire to serve Him more wholeheartedly? In this class, we will be learning the real-life stories of many of the Christian Heroes of our faith, such as Jesus, Augustine, Harriett Tubman, Martin Luther, John Wesley, and many more. New for Heroes of the Faith Part 2, there will be live missionaries who will share about their life as a missionary! We will be both encouraged and challenged by these real-life heroes’ courage, their devotion, and their sacrifice for the advancement of the Kingdom of God. For eight of the twelve-week semester, we will watch and discuss one of the “Torchlighters: Heroes of Our Faith” films. These animated films truly stir the heart and activate the faith of anyone who watches them as they depict the lives of ordinary people who forever changed the world through their faith and obedience to the call of God on their lives. Four of the co-op weeks there will be special guest missionaries who share with the class about their life and impact as missionaries.
Eat Your Way Around the World
Join us as we study geography, learn about different countries and sample foods from these countries. Please inform the teacher of any food allergies so that we can adjust foods as needed.

Magic School Bus Science
We will read several different Magic School Bus books in class and perform experiments to learn more about the topics.
Secret Garden
This class will be a book study. Students will need to have a copy of the book. We will study the book and have a tea/garden party to culminate our studies.

All Things Georgia
We will learn all about our great state of Georgia: symbols, history, landmarks, people, government, agriculture, sports teams, tourist sites and more.

Games
The students will play many different card games and board games. The games will not only be for fun but will also teach a variety of skills such as logic, strategic planning and thinking, reasoning, problem-solving, and cooperation.
Any Body Can Draw!
Have you ever wished you could pick up a pencil, and draw anything you see or imagine? Now your dream can become a reality. With this fun and fast curriculum, you can quickly and easily unlock the basic drawing abilities you never knew you had and transform your creativity. We will begin with the ‘Getting Started’ series of lessons and advance as a class to other series like Animals and Comics, Fantasy, Cartoons, or Buildings and Lettering.
It may be helpful to have the basic knowledge of drawing a sphere, cube, pyramid, cone, and cylinder. Students could practice these shapes now if they want to (youtube); otherwise, it will be covered in class.
Parents should provide students with supplies below. There is no specific name brand we are using. Links are provided as an example. Feel free to find the best bargain for your students.

This is a comprehensive course for high school student covering concepts such as Saving and Budgeting, Credit and

Art
In this class, we will discuss the Elements of Art and the Principles of Design in relation to famous art pieces. We will work on projects based on these elements and principles in an effort to improve individual aesthetics and skill. That sounds boring! But we will have a lot of fun creating and exploring what makes art good, beautiful, moving, and unique. The class will include about 8-10 projects. Additional projects and guidelines for a paper will be given as optional assignments for a student who wants to include Art I as a full credit on their transcript.

Cake Decorating
Students will learn basic cake decorating skills. They may be required to bring an already baked cake and icing to class. The class fee will supply a cake decorating kit that will be theirs to keep at the end of the course. This class will meet in the kitchen of the church.
