We had a great time at our Spring 2013 Family Night! We featured a luau themed dinner and had table displays from all of our spring classes. Our Pinewood Derby class had fun racing their cars. The Yearbook Class passed out our first ever SHHC yearbooks which were amazing! It was a fun night to end another great year at SHHC!!
Winter/Spring 2013 Registration
Registration for the Winter/Spring 2013 semester of South Hall Homeschool Co-Op is open!
Here are the details:
Our meeting time and location will remain the same– Tuesday afternoons @ Hopewell Baptist Church. If offered, the PE Games period will begin at 1:15 pm and regular class sessions will start at 2:00.
In order to be eligible for discounted fees for lead/co-lead teachers, your class subject must be pre-approved by Wendy or Rachael (please email or call us to discuss).
If you are a current member of SHHC (Fall 2012), all you need to submit for registration are your registration fees. Payment may be made by cash, check or PayPal (links in the sidebar). Please know if you choose to pay via PayPal, you will see a small addition to your total which is to cover the cost of PayPal’s fee.
New families must complete a Registration Form, Participation Agreement and sign a Statement of Faith (links in the sidebar). Please email us if you need the address to send your documents and/or registration fees.
As always, a final list of available classes for the Winter/Spring 2013 semester will NOT be released until after Family Registration is closed. The reason for this is that we do not know for certain all the classes we will offer until we have our finalized list of teachers (parents). If you want to lead or co-lead teach, please let us know a.s.a.p. so you can have first choice of ages and subject matter! Classes are available for children from preschool through middle/high school as well as childcare for infants. Elementary age and higher classes will be available in age-appropriate ranges (typically K-2nd, 3rd-5th and 6th and up). Our parent-led classes are typically enrichment type.

If you wish to pay your fees via PayPal, please use the buttons on the sidebar of the blog. If you choose this option, you will incur a slightly higher payment (~$1) in order for us to re-coup the fees charged by PayPal.

A summer break…but not really!
We ended our spring semester with in our first ever (and likely to be repeated!) Family Night Program & BBQ! What a super night of fun and fellowship. And what talented kids we have!!
Although classes have ended for this semester, SHHC does plan to get together for some fun activities (park & pool days) over the summer. Please email us at the address listed on the sidebar if you’d like to be included in our email distribution list.
Early registration for our fall semester will begin in June so stay tuned for details (they will be posted on the blog and via the email distribution list). We also have some exciting changes ahead for SHHC that you won’t want to miss!

Spring 2011 Registration
An early registration discount of $5 will be given to all families who register, pay and send in their membership documents by the deadline. (Families currently enrolled in SHHC for the Fall 2010 semester do not have to resubmit membership documents unless they’ve had a change of information.)
Regular registration will run December 1st, 2010 through January 4th, 2010– but may be discontinued sooner if we reach membership capacity.
Family registration discounts are also available for Lead Teachers and Co-Lead Teachers. Please remember your class must be approved by either Becky or Wendy before you qualify for a teaching discount.
